In the short time my family lived in Grosbeck, I quickly grew a fascination with the older architecture found all over the westside of Cincinnati. In the surrounding suburb of Landen, where I spent my formative years, I thought back a lot to the neighborhood I had once spent, albeit brief, moments of my childhood. 

My family's new house, and all the surrounding houses, felt so grandiose. So new & polished compared to the older, ranch-style ramblers I had grown so fond of. That's not to say I didn't love the house I grew up in. As a kid, even with five siblings, I always felt I had plenty of private space and a HUGE backyard to play in. And I have since learned that about real estate, it's about finding the right house for your needs and desires.  

And wouldn't ya know it, as I sit here writing this in my early 30s I am doing so in my 1956, ranch-style rambler less than 10 minutes from Grosbeck, where my fascination with houses began. I never would've guessed the allure of the architecture in this city would bring me back to it. Nor did I think I would be helping people buy & sell beautiful homes. 

It sure was a journey and a process, but I found my perfect home.
